It’s (almost) official. I received word from the board of Professional Counselors and Therapists last week that I passed the final test needed to become a State Licensed Professional Counselor and should receive my license in the mail in the next two weeks!
Now that classes, licensing, and career moves are (hopefully) done for a while I’m hoping to blog more…a lot more. I essentially stopped blogging when I started Graduate school almost five years ago. Family, classes and lots of other life changes just got in the way. Not to mention, it took me a while to get comfortable with my new professional identity, and what and how to write. I’ve learned so much in the past five years since I started down this path toward becoming a professional counselor, I’m looking forward to sharing some of what I’ve learned. I know, I know, I’ve said a lot over the past, but as you can see from the new site redesign I’ve got some plans on how to make that happen this time, and hope you’ll come back to check it out.
